    The BUND Naturschutz owns some litter meadows in the Wettismoos and maintains them according to the guidelines of nature conservation.  The meadows are partly mowed by hand.  In order to preserve the biodiversity the mowing takes place after the first of September. The mowed material is used as litter by local farmers.
