For a living mountain in the face of climate change: facilitating the adaptation of the forests of the Ariège Pyrenees Regional Natural Park

Nature-based solutions to facilitate forest's adaptation to climate change.The objectives with future climate change in the Ariege Pyrenees Ariegeoises are to maintain the services provided by the forest, whether in terms of economic services (wood production and associated jobs), socio-cultural (wood production and associated jobs), socio-cultural services (landscapes, recreational uses, tourism) or regulation ervices (soil maintenance in mountains, carbon absorption and storage, preservation storage, preservation of water quality). The actions will be : - to identify and test nature-based technical solutions- to facilitate to facilitate forest adaptation to climate change- to disseminate technical and economic reference systems resulting from this work- to identify the levers to remove the obstacles to their implementation, in particular on the the human level with the definition of tools to support the change of change in practices among professionals in the sector.
