The water authority Rosenheim has to protect the riverbank of the Glonn at the end of the town Glonn. In order to upgrade the water ecologically in sense of the europeam water framework directive only bioengineering techniques were used. To prevent erosion heavy-type wipped fascines were used and willows have been planted. Furthermore the riverbank has been flattened.
