    Description of solution
    Summary (Challenges; Objectives)

The town centre of Lezo is crossed by various watercourses which collect the waters of Mount Jaizkibel and whose associated ecosystems have been reduced due to the effect of anthropisation and urban development pressure. The town council has been working for several years on the regeneration and enhancement of these watercourses, as is the case of Olatzar, the course of which runs alongside the town's urban garden park.

    Technical characteristics

Cleaning and removal of debris and waste in the channel and removal of bushes and shrubs (privet) in the area. The remains of pruning and felling have been used to create shelters for insects and reptiles. A pond has been created next to the regatta to increase the biodiversity of amphibians in the municipality.
